Playing for the Future
The Volodymyr Velychko Memorial Tournament is not about the past. It is about the future he helped his students build.
Football is more than a game. It teaches friendship, resilience, fairness, and teamwork. That is why the “Growth in the Family” Foundation was honored to partner with an event that supports youth sports and gives children room to grow.
For more than four years, the Foundation, led by its founder Fedir Drozdovskyi, has done everything possible to help orphaned children remain within their families, alongside their grandparents. The team pays particular attention to development and sports, because these opportunities help children grow with greater confidence.
With Fedir’s support, the MEGOGO media service brought the tournament closer to everyone who could not attend in person. The competition was streamed on MEGOGO Sport, with professional commentators covering the matches.
The event became an important moment for youth football. Through their play, every participant showed that they deserve attention, support, and confidence in their future.
The Foundation sincerely thanks all teams, coaches, parents, and organizers—the Kyiv Children’s Football League and the Kyiv Football Association—for the emotions everyone shared.
