Project Goals
In March 2025, we launched Beauty Without Age to support older women who have taken on the responsibility of raising their grandchildren. They devote so much of themselves to their families, children, and everyday responsibilities. Through this project, we want to give something back — a sense of femininity, lightness, and the opportunity to care for themselves.
- Provide free beauty services to grandmothers raising their grandchildren.
- Build confidence, self-esteem, and social engagement among older women.
- Bring communities and businesses together to support older women.
How It Works
Ways to Participate
We run the project together with beauty salons, beauty professionals, and volunteers. There are several ways to take part — here’s how Beauty Without Age works:

Beauty Days at Salons
We organize special events where groups of grandmothers visit a salon and receive several beauty services in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It is about more than haircuts — it is also about attention, care, and connection.

Monthly Beauty Care
Partner salons provide beauty services to grandmothers every month, giving them the opportunity to receive regular care such as haircuts, coloring, or manicures.

Birthday Beauty Treat
We give grandmothers a beauty salon visit for their birthday — a chance to feel special on a day when a little extra attention means so much.

Care with a Little Extra
Food and hospitality businesses can also join the project. For example, cafés and restaurants may provide refreshments during salon visits. Beauty sessions can last several hours, and sharing tea or a meal with grandmothers and their grandchildren helps make the experience even warmer.
Beauty Stories
May 2026 / Kyiv / Anait Salon
A beauty day for six grandmothers. Anait Salon is one of the project’s long-standing partners and regularly hosts beauty days for grandmother caregivers.
This time, the participants received manicures, hair coloring, haircuts, and eyebrow care. The atmosphere was warm and heartfelt: the grandmothers drank coffee, laughed, and were grateful for the care that is often missing from everyday life.

August 2025 / Odesa / Rosedale
Ten grandmother caregivers enjoyed a day of beauty and care.
They received new haircuts, manicures, and gifts. Many of them had never had an experience like this before. The day gave them not only a new look, but also inner calm, warmth, and a sense of dignity.

June 2025 / Kyiv / Anait Salon
A large Kyiv event with many partners.
The event brought together a salon, a hair academy, stylists, photographers, psychologists, and cosmetologists. The project united a true community around a shared purpose. An atmosphere of trust, femininity, and strength could be felt every moment. Fifty grandmother caregivers received beauty services.

April 2025 / Kyiv / Volkhovska Studio
The first large-scale beauty day: 30 grandmothers and caregivers received new hairstyles, makeup, manicures, gifts, and a photo session.
The event was organized with the support of Yuliia Orliuk and a community of beauty volunteers. There were many emotions, warmth, and tears of joy. It marked the beginning of a wonderful tradition: giving women who are used to caring for others the attention and care they deserve.

Nineteen caregivers and thirteen children received haircuts, hair coloring, and a wave of support before the new school year. It was a shared celebration filled with smiles, hugs, and a boost of confidence.
