Education That Opens New Opportunities:

Five children supported by the Grow Up in a Family Foundation have begun a new school year at a private engineering lyceum in Lviv. Their tuition is being covered by donors.

Sisters Dariia and Osanna-Mari Zub are in the fifth and eighth grades. Their grandfather, Roman, is raising them. To give his granddaughters better opportunities, the family moved from a village to Lviv.

Veronika-Ivanna entered seventh grade this year. She lost her mother at four and has been raised by her grandmother, Tetiana, ever since. Fourth-grader Artur is being raised by his grandmother, Mariia, after losing his father. Mykolai is in seventh grade and lives with his grandmother, Nadiia.

The children’s interests range from music and reading to technology and IT. Studying at the lyceum gives them not only access to a quality education, but also the opportunity to develop their talents, discover new interests, and plan for the future with greater confidence.
