Foundation Project:

Family Basket

Direct Support for Families.
This is a charitable project built around monthly contributions from individual donors.
Each contribution helps purchase a food package for a specific family supported by the Foundation. The project connects people who want to help with families that need regular support, providing them with food and essential everyday items.

Every food basket is more than just food. It is a reminder that you have not been forgotten. For a grandmother raising three grandchildren on her own, this support means hope. Every month, we do everything we can to keep that hope alive.

Autumn is a good time to pay extra attention to health and immunity, especially for children and older adults. 🙌 The foundation supports the health needs of the families in our care. In addition to providing medicines when requested, we also try to make sure children and their guardians have access to essential vitamins and supplements. 💪Thanks to the support of NGO “Edine Dzherelo” @edine_dzherelo, the foundation was able to provide more than 300 packages of medicines and vitamins to families where older guardians are raising children. 🙏💙 We are sincerely grateful to “Edine Dzherelo” for supporting our work and helping us care for the health of children and their guardians. Together, we are helping families feel safer, healthier, and better supported.

Meeting basic needs is an essential part of creating a stable and happy childhood, and our foundation works toward this every month. 💪🏻 In July, thanks to our partners, 911 families received food packages. These families include grandparents and other older guardians who are raising 1,319 children on their own. 📈 This support helps families reduce everyday expenses so they can direct more of their resources toward children’s development and other essential needs. 🥰 We also have some good news to share: for the past month, the foundation has expanded its regional presence to the Kirovohrad region, and we are very happy to be able to support more families there. 🙏🏻🇺🇦 We are deeply grateful to all of our partners who contribute to the work of the “Grow in Family” Foundation: International Ministry of the Lord, First Sumy Humanitarian Headquarters, NGO “Levkiv Vpered,” @svitlo_diy, @christianrefugeerelief, Ukraine for Christ, and the Kharkiv City Development Platform @city_development_platform. Your support makes an invaluable contribution to our shared work. 💙 You can also support the “Grow in Family” Foundation by joining one of our current fundraising campaigns. Right now, we are raising funds for school supplies to help children get ready for the new school year. The fundraising link is available in our profile bio.

A girl holding a new school backpack in clear packaging.

Getting a child ready for school is not an easy task for any parent or guardian. 📑 Long lists of school essentials often mean having to choose between quality and quantity, and a good backpack can be one of the more expensive items. 💙 Thanks to our long-term partners at Kromberg & Schubert @kroschuzy, we have been able for several years to support guardian families by providing younger schoolchildren with new, high-quality backpacks. 🎒 This year, 40 backpacks are on their way to children in guardian families across Zhytomyr and the surrounding region. For many of them, these new backpacks will replace older ones that were borrowed or handed down from older siblings. We are deeply grateful to @kroschuzy for their continued partnership, trust, and commitment to helping families in our region. Their support is not only practical help today, but also an investment in children’s confidence, education, and future. 🙏 Together, we are helping create better conditions for Ukrainian children to grow, learn, and thrive. A partnership that brings warmth and support. 💫 Christian Refugee Relief and the NGO “Levkiv Vpered” have been supporting the “Grow in Family” Foundation for a long time, helping us improve the lives of families who need extra care. For more than a year, together we have been preparing food packages for several regions, selecting quality clothing and footwear for children and adults, and providing hygiene products carefully collected, purchased, or donated by supporters in the Netherlands. 📦 This month, in addition to the food packages provided by our partners, we were also able to distribute a large number of new, high-quality clothing items to children in the Zhytomyr, Kyiv, and Odesa regions, as well as in Kyiv. 🤝 Thanks to the support of CRR and “Levkiv Vpered,” more than 400 children received sweatshirts, tops, T-shirts, leggings, warm jackets, and other clothing from brands including Nike and Timberland. 🧥👕👚♥️ We hope these items bring not only comfort, but also confidence to the teenagers who receive them. Just as importantly, this support helps families focus less on urgent everyday needs and more on the bigger challenges they are facing. A special thank-you to Maksym Stoliarchuk for his ongoing help and support with logistics. And thank you to everyone who continues to support our initiatives. Together, we are making life a little better for the families we serve. 💛

Once again, Saturday was filled with a little bit of magic and plenty of happy children’s smiles. 💛 The children we support, together with their guardians, attended a performance of “The Three Little Pigs” at @zt_teatr_official. The visit gave the children a wonderful mix of emotions, warmth, and inspiration, and most importantly, a chance to feel the care and support every child needs. ✨ We are especially grateful that the theater is open to collaboration and welcomes children and their guardians from across the Zhytomyr region. It is a beautiful example of kindness and genuine care for those who need it most. A heartfelt thank-you to the entire theater team for their hospitality and the wonderful atmosphere. Together, we are creating happy memories for children. 💙

Beauty has no age — it lives in smiles, in the way we look at one another, and in kind hearts. 💛 Our new project, “Beauty Without Age,” has launched in Kyiv.
